Independence Day

Hey Cinema peeps!
It's already Week 5, Term 1 and to celebrate, 
we're screening the classic Sci-Fi film

Independence Day
Directed by Roland Emmerich (1996)



The question of whether or not we are alone in the universe has been answered.

The aliens are coming and their goal is to invade and destroy. 
Fighting superior technology, Man's best weapon is 
the will to survive.

Starring Will Smith,
 and a bunch of other famous Americans,
watch as they battle the invading aliens for peace, justice and freedom.

Running time: 145 minutes

Be sure to be in B8 at 3:00pm Thursday 26th February 
for a good seat and an early start.

Bring your drinks and snacks, as this is a long one.

Welcome to 2015!



This year we will focus on two genres:

Science Fiction
and 
Animation

As film lovers and Media Studies students you are expected to attend the screenings. 
The screenings will align with our genre study and 
add to your own general knowledge of films, narrative structure and filmmaking.
After the screening, please contribute to our blog with a review.

I will provide the films
and you can provide the snacks.
